Southern Governorate Annual Report

The Southern Governorate Annual Report 2021 documents the accomplishments and achievements of Bahrain’s largest governorate during the year 2021.

Cartoon Planet designed the layout of the 450-page bilingual book, which has an Arabic and English side, and made use of 1,000 photos and images.

We also illustrated and designed all of the infographics, figures, graphs and tables featured in the publication, which visualized and simplified troves of data that were part of the report.

The book includes six chapters: leadership, security, communication, projects and services, social programs and community affairs, precautionary measures, and human and financial resources.

It also documents the Southern Governorate’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Commissioned by Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, a special edition of this book was printed to be specially presented to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
